Calling for Volunteers!

PEO – Oakville Chapter would like to invite interested members to an information night about joining our executive board or helping out at some of our chapter-organized events during the 2015-16 Cycle.

There are several sub-committees within the Oakville Chapter that require volunteers, each offering its own unique activities and experiences. These include:

• Events Committee – Promoting chapter activities to PEO members
• GLP Committee – Government Liaison Program – positioning PEO on the same side of the table with all levels of government to solve public interest issues related to professional engineering.
• Education Committee – Promoting engineering to students
• Volunteers at Large

In particular, our Education Committee is very active and we have a number of lead roles we are looking to fill for next year:

• Design Activities
• Scholarships and Sponsorships
• Teacher Outreach and Support
• Public Outreach and Awareness
• National Engineering Month
